{Video} How Do You Balance Home Daycare and Housework?

In Ontario, since the board of education has taken over running daycare supervision, our volume of paperwork has gone through the roof. I can’t count how many times I have to say wait a few minutes…I have to finish this paperwork…or I can’t guys I have to get my paperwork done….I would think the kids and things that are important to keep them safe and stimulated should take priority over excess paperwork? How are we to fit this into our workday as well?

YES! I don’t live in Canada but where I live we just got a bunch of new rules put in place by licensing just these last few months that we must comply with by such and sigh date and I have more trouble finding time to do things like that, scheduling fingerprints or calling state or food program updates, or copying paperwork and posting it for the state. It goes on and on.
Not to mention that tax season is coming and I’ve got to get the paperwork done for the parents and my house as a business. I consider sending my kid to his grandparents for a Saturday just to keep up.
Can you tell me how to work all the paperwork into the day? And nap seems ideal because I schedule a 2 1/2 hour nap but my babies don’t always sleep or I’m busy getting art ready for the next day
